About
The James W. Black Music Center is home to VCU’s Department of Music and the Community School of Performing Arts, which offers noncredit instruction to students of all ages and levels. Lessons are available in piano, organ, voice, guitar, band and orchestral instruments as well as theory.
Formerly Grove Avenue Baptist Church, the building features a 300-seat recital hall, classrooms, faculty studios and practice rooms.
