The Edmund F. Ackell Residence Center, operated by Residential Life and Housing, offers two- and four-bedroom apartments — all with single-occupancy bedrooms — with 12-month contracts; parking in the West Broad Street deck; 24-hour security; connections for Internet, phone and cable; full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave; and a washer and dryer in each apartment.
Administrative and customer service offices for VCU Parking and Transportation are located on the southwest portion of the first level.
RamBikes is also located on the first floor. It offers a welcoming and collaborative environment for cyclists of all kinds, as well as those looking to get started. The facility is staffed by bike ambassadors and offers safety skills and maintenance clinics as well as a repair shop where students can work on their bikes.
